Planning within your medical care

If you are arranging a planned caesarean or induction, you may wish to consider Chinese metaphysics as one part of your preparation. Tiffany examines possible birth charts within the delivery window provided by your obstetrician, together with both parents' charts.

Your obstetrician's guidance and the wellbeing of mother and baby come first. Date selection works within medically appropriate options and may need to change as the pregnancy develops.

How the service works

1. A 45-minute discussion. Share your delivery window, medical scheduling requirements and the qualities or priorities you hope to support as a family.
2. Detailed chart screening. Tiffany reviews the potential BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu charts across the agreed 14-day window, considering both parents' charts alongside them.
3. A 60-minute explanation session. You discuss the shortlisted dates and times, the themes Tiffany identifies in each chart, and her reasons for the recommendation.
4. Your written report. Keep the shortlisted options and explanations in a clear document for reference.

Understanding the limits of birth timing

A planned caesarean may allow a proposed time to be discussed with your medical team, but the actual birth time depends on clinical circumstances. With induction, the time between starting the process and birth varies, so the eventual birth time cannot be fixed in advance.

Tiffany explains how this uncertainty affects the selection. Any recommendation is an interpretation of possible charts; a child's development will also be shaped by their health, experiences, environment and choices.

Baby name selection

The combined package includes a Chinese name and an English name considered alongside the selected chart. Tiffany explains the reasoning behind the suggestions, giving you a thoughtful basis for choosing a name you feel connected to.

Date, time and name selection together are SGD 998 (USD 780). The naming recommendations are included in your written report.
